in 1989 under the umbrella of its parent company
KSKS Partners, the sports collectibles company
specializes in vintage sports publications, programs,
jerseys, and classic autographed hockey and baseball
memorabilia and pictures. Due to a large increase
of bogus autographs, the philosophy of the company
is to research and authenticate every signature
that it buys and sells, through a large reference
library, that has been built over the years. Authentic
signatures are scanned, dated and stored in a
large library. The venue of private athlete signings
is also a must to survive and to thrive in the
sports collectibles industry.
KSKS Partners, and its sports memorabilia business,
KSKS Sports Collectibles Inc., is 100% owned by
Steven Shelton. Mr. Shelton has vast experience
and is very passionate about sports and the collectible
business, having been a collector himself since
the age of 10 years old. In order to bring his
company to the next level, Mr. Shelton recently
retired from the field of investment banking.
He has worked in the financial market industry
for 16 years. The last 11 years, he was managing
the Montreal office for the NY Wall street firm
Goldman Sachs.
Being very passionate about sports, it is a dream
come true for Mr. Shelton to spend 100% of his
time on sports, his businesses, his family, and
coaching his four sons, Kevin, Scott, Kristofer
and Spencer ( KSKS ) in hockey and baseball. |
